Location: Oakland, MS with relocation assistance 

Schedule: 1st shift

Pay: $30-42/ hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ammonia Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems and other related equipment. This position aims to ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial boilers, air compressors, and other mechanical systems.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely and efficiently in the workplace.
• Conduct soldering and welding tasks as required for equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including EPA regulations.
• Assist in wastewater management and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to implement Total Performance Management strategies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Technician focusing on industrial refrigeration or ammonia.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, industrial boilers, and air compressors.
• Valid forklift and scissor lift certification.
• Must have or be able to obtain RETA Certification.
• Strong soldering and welding skills.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with Total Performance Management and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience in wastewater management.
• Understanding of Process Safety Management principles.
• Basic electrical repair skills and knowledge of EPA regulations.
