\n\nJob Description\n

The Emergency Department at a rural critical access hospital offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. In this fast-paced position, the ED RN provides direct care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialties as required, and adjusts the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Working well under pressure, our RNs collaborate with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care. The busy Emergency Department sees over 15,000 patients per year and is currently under construction for an expansion.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency setting.
\n
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
\n
• Consult with other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Collaborate with health team members for coordinated management of patient care.
\n
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Current VT or compact multi-state RN License.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
\n
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience required.
\n
• TNCC preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly.
\n
