Shift: 7:00 – 7:00 (12-hour shifts) Night and Day both Available
Schedule: 3x12 and 4x12 shifts per week (both availabe)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with psychiatric nursing experience to join a geriatric behavioral health unit. The RN will provide direct patient care to elderly psychiatric patients, ensuring safety, therapeutic support, and high-quality clinical outcomes in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric psychiatric patients
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor mental and physical health status
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
- Implement and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for patients
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies and behavioral escalations appropriately
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a RN Psych in Geriatric Psychiatric Nursing or related psychiatric setting
- Strong clinical judgment and de-escalation skills
