Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Underground Sewer Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide in-home sales consultations for sewer repair and replacement solutions, to include light commercial. Utilizing your plumbing knowledge and sales experience, you will assess sewer line conditions using in-pipe video technology, educate homeowners on identified issues, and offer professional solutions tailored to their needs.
This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong interpersonal skills, and thrives in a commission-based environment. Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate customer appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct video inspections of sewer lines to assess condition
- Identify sewer lines requiring repair or replacement
- Clearly explain diagnosed issues to customers in a professional and understandable manner
- Provide accurate written estimates and repair options
- Educate customers on the sewer replacement process, service benefits, and financing options
- Prepare contracts and guide customers through financing options
- Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the consultation and sales process
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of in-home sales experience
- At least 2 years of plumbing experience
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record check
Working Conditions
Environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- Evening and/or early morning, and/or weekend/holiday hours periodically
- Will work both indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold to very hot and humid
