Job Summary:
The Director, Leadership Executive Coaching manages IMPACT Group’s leadership executive coaching practice, coordinates leadership development pre-sales support, communicates with clients and serves as executive coach and performs special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages executive coaching practice
- Coordinate program designs, coaching guides and supporting materials for client engagement.
- Manage reporting and quality management for programs.
- Hire, train, and onboard IMPACT Group’s executive coaches.
- Manage IMPACT Group’s executive coaches, providing real-time performance feedback ensuring coaches deliver quality work per client and IMPACT Group specifications and keep required documentation.
- Apply expertise to work with coaches on troubleshooting issues and challenging coaching situations.
- Maintains open communication and positive relationships with coaches and clients including hosting quarterly coach networking/development forum.
- Quantify and communicate the reporting results of Executive Coaching delivery to client or to sales for delivery to clients.
- Maintain profitability / margins in executive coaching program including setting coach rates, invoicing schedules and approving client invoices.
- Collaborate with coordinator to manage and oversee delivery of outplacement workshops.
- Serve as central point of contact with sales team to conduct needs analysis and evaluate subject matter expertise needs.
- Coordinate subject matter experts for sales person calls; oversee assigned subject matter experts to ensure quality and continuity in how programs are offered.
- Serve as subject matter expert as needed; effectively consult, guide and influence clients to enhance program sales.
- Consult on development of proposals and statements of work.
- Evaluate and establish pricing for programs within established ranges with support of Practice VP and sales team member.
- Supervise and oversees staff and adjunct team members to ensure program implementation, pre-sale support, or other department projects and activities in support of the VP.
- Coach participants directly.
- Design and facilitate workshops or other client programs.
- 5+ years of experience working in Talent & Leadership Development; must have led others in a business environment.
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Coach. Coaching certification preferred.
- Experience supervising and managing teams of remote, geographically dispersed Coaches and /or Consultants.
- Experience supporting sales team from a subject matter expertise perspective.
- Significant Instructional Design knowledge and experience following adult learning principles and instructional design models to fully conceptualize and create workshops.
- Dynamic, interactive workshop facilitation skills and significant workshop facilitation experience with audiences from a variety of industries and levels.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience, including making decisions, supervising, evaluating, coaching and guiding others.
- Consultative business development experience, including contributing to / developing proposals and assisting in closing business.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Skilled in creating written materials using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint which project a professional image.
- Experience working with global clients and colleagues preferred.
- At least 5-10% overnight travel as required based on client needs.
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with tight timelines; able to navigate and make decisions in novel situations amidst a level of ambiguity.
- Deep knowledge of current leadership, human resources and talent development trends.
- Exceptional ability to quickly learn the business strategy, approach and culture of various clients.
- A positive attitude, creative mindset and the ability to anticipate client needs and quickly problem solve and provide a variety of solutions.
- Outgoing and charismatic leadership style with a history of instilling and promoting enthusiasm for the business among subordinates, peers and vendors.
