The is interested in a Family Medicine physician to join the UW Health Belleville Clinic. This physician faculty will practice full-spectrum family medicine in the inpatient and outpatient settings, with maternity care (OB) being optional. This position will be involved in teaching of residents, medical students, and other learners. This position will include academic scholarly work.
Duties will include provision of clinical care of patients, with maternity care if applicable, and teaching/supervision of residents, medical students, and other learners. Teaching occurs in both clinical settings and in formal scheduled learning sessions. Time and other departmental and campus-wide resources are available to promote scholarly work in the candidate's area(s) of interest.
This position includes participating in residency faculty call schedule, covering inpatient med/peds or OB, or potentially both. Faculty are expected to attend required departmental meetings and perform administrative duties, as necessary to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. There may be an expectation for nursing home visits. This position may also include opportunities to work on collaborative initiatives within UW-SMPH & UW Health.

This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. ?The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Required Qualifications:
WI medial license, or eligible for license by start date of position.
Board-certified or board eligible by American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) by start date of position.
Completion of a US Family Medicine residency by the start date of the position.
