Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physician for the department of Hospital Medicine at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital, in Jersey Shore, PA.Geisinger Jersey Shore is a designated Level IV trauma center. With 25 accredited beds, the hospital also has a helipad for transport of critically injured patients requiring higher-level medical care at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville or another hospital. As a hospitalist, youll have access to advanced medical technology and resources, allowing you to deliver the highest quality to your patients.

Job Duties

• Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories.Performsand/orinterpretsdiagnostic testsas needed.
• Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness.May prescribeor administermedications.Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that includepatients'histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes.
