RF/Microwave Assembly Soldering Specialist

Compensation: $30–$32 per hour

Schedule: Flexible start window between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM

Location: Onsite in Cypress, CA

Role Snapshot

Join a Cypress-based team where precision craftsmanship meets RF and microwave electronics. You will translate schematics and work instructions into high-reliability hardware using expert SMT and through-hole soldering techniques, wave soldering, and mechanical assembly—all with an eye for quality under the microscope.

A Day in the Life

• Begin by reviewing RF/microwave schematics, drawings, and detailed work instructions to plan your build.
• Execute fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering, including rework when needed, maintaining IPC standards.
• Operate wave soldering equipment and complete mechanical assembly to integrate boards and hardware.
• Inspect under a microscope to verify joints and workmanship meet IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 criteria.

What You Bring

• Ability to solder consistently under a microscope.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in soldering and mechanical assembly within electronics.
• IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification required, or equivalent proven experience.
