Job Description
Individuals in this position build control panels and assemble related company products. A panel builder assembles, wires, and tests electrical control panels for machinery and equipment by interpreting schematics and blueprints, selecting and mounting components like breakers and terminals, and performing quality control checks.
Responsibilities:
- Build control panels from panel layout drawings and electrical schematics
- Interpret electrical schematics as required to wire company products
- Cut and fit conduit and other industrial wire ways
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical circuits
- Interpret mechanical drawings to assemble company products at standard rate
- Setup/operate digital test equipment including data loggers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Able to pass pre-employment math test
- Ability to proficiently use measuring equipment preferred
- Ability to read mechanical drawings with no assistance preferred
- Understanding of dimensional tolerance preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16”
- Preferred knowledge of power transmission components and best practice for assembly
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $20 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
