We are currently hiring a Mentoring Coordinator, to work in our Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Office. As the Mentoring Coordinator, you would be responsible for:
- Provide outreach to the community regarding mentoring programs. Outreach will include marketing activities aimed at recruiting both youth to participate in the mentoring programs and adult volunteers to act as mentors for the program.
- Provide general administrative support for all mentoring programs that Catholic Charities manages. This will include, but will not be limited to: data entry, filing, creating files, and ensuring all documentation for mentors and mentees is collected.
- Maintain accurate records of enrolled mentors and mentees. Data entry into different computer programs and databases, along with maintenance of the mentoring database/electronic records.
- Complete assessment on each youth, when they first enter the program, and when they are being discharged from the program. Provide a score from both assessments and compare the assessment scores to evaluate if the youth improved their score.
- Based on the results of the assessment, have the youth complete a service plan, including goals they would like to achieve. Goals should relate to areas identified in the Casey Ansell assessment that need the youth’s additional attention
Mentoring Coordinator Minimum Salary: $25.00
Mentoring Coordinator Maximum Salary: $25.00
Mentoring Coordinator Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm, some nights and weekends as activities require
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field
- Less then one year experience in Human Services Industry
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood / Day Care Administration, Business Management. or related field
- 1-3 years’ related experience in Human Services Industry
