We employ hard-working, dedicated, caring team members who are committed to excellence and empowering children and families through therapy, education, and prevention-based care./ppbr//ppstrong*JOB OPPORTUNITIES SERVICING THE KERSHAW COUNTY, SC AREA*/strongbr/Under general supervision, this position provides one-on-one behavioral interventions with children, youth and/or adults receiving specialty mental health services in the client's home/residential placement/school or during community outings; performs related work as assigned./ppstrongResponsibilities and duties:/strong/pulliParticipating in the treatment planning process./liliProviding direct home-based behavioral health services and support, including therapy for the family./liliProviding direct services for the family as indicated in the Individual Plan of Care (IPOC)/Treatment Plan./liliAssist the team leader in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions as evidenced by symptom reduction and progress toward goals./liliAssist the team leader with consulting identified non-medical providers, engaging community and natural supports and including their input in the person-center/ed planning process./liliEnsure that all information obtained while at Carolina Therapeutic Services is kept confidential and will remain confidential beyond employment./liliResponsible for ensuring that services are provided in a manner which meets all applicable regulatory licensure and accrediting regulations./liliParticipate in multi-disciplinary staffing.?/liliAttend all appropriate in-services, workshops, or continuing education programs./liliResponsible for keeping client medical record charts and their own personnel file information up to date in a timely manner./liliWork to ensure mental health outreach, education, and prevention in the community./liliResponsible for appropriate intake, assessments, and orientation./liliMaintains strict confidentiality according to all Federal and State guidelines and requirements./liliResponsible for personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession,?/liliResponsible for maintaining a safe, clean and drug-free environment./liliMaintain service notation that meets agency notation standards, Medicaid standards, and/or any other auditing agency such as the MCO./liliMust maintain the flexibility to respond to client needs and crisis Situations beyond the agencies normal working hours./liliDeliver services in various environments, such as homes, schools, jails (for state funds only), homeless shelters, etc./liliPerform any other job-related duties as specified by a supervisor. ?/li/ulpbr//ppstrongPay Rate??/strong/pp$16.50 - $ 20.50/ppRequirements/ppstrongWhat qualifications do you need?/strong/ppMaster’s Degree in the Human service field with one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling. Supervision shall be provided by a qualified professional with the population served until the individual has one year of experience.?/ppOR/ppGraduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human service field with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling,?/ppSupervision shall be provided by a qualified professional with the population served until the individual has two years of experience.?/ppOR/ppGraduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services with less than four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional with less than four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling.?/p
