Part-Time IT Technician

pCarthage R-9 School District/p pnbsp;/p pJOB DESCRIPTION/p pnbsp;/p pJob Title: Part-Time Technician (29.5 hrs/wk) (flexible hours available for college students)/p pnbsp;/p pResponsible to: Director of Information Technology/p pnbsp;/p pQualifications: bull; Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and IT components bull; Detailed knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles bull; Proven experience as computer technician or similar role bull; Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills bull; Thorough background in troubleshooting that is sufficient for installation and repair Primary Functions: Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, technicians will provide onsite support to network users, setup hardware, configure and install software and drivers, maintain and repair equipment and peripheral devices, and provide secondary support to other members of the department. General Responsibilities: bull; Offer timely technical support and assist stakeholders in the utilization of technology components bull; Maintain, install, and manage hardware, software, peripherals, etc. bull; Facilitate implementation of technologies selected by educators bull; Assist in the installation of network and management components bull; Manage security options to maintain privacy and protection bull; Perform regular upgrades and updates bull; Complete other duties as assigned/p
