That is why we offer great compensation, awesome benefits, and a work environment worth bragging about!/pstrongJob Description:/strongpDCS Asset Maintenance#xa0;(DCSAM)#xa0;is seeking highly motivated and skilled Non CDL Snowplow Operators with a great attitude, strong ethics and morals, and a vast mechanical aptitude with a keen sense of safety./pulliOperates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle./liliPerforms pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair./liliImmediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service./liliParticipates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager./liliWorks closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problems or unsafe accounts./liliPerforms all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongpuEDUCATION:/u/ppHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is required./ppuEXPERIENCE:/u/pulli18+ years of age or older./liliCommercial Driver’s License A#xa0;or B (CDL)- emstrongPreferred/strong/em./liliStandard Driver’s License (Class D)./liliSuccessfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, and motor vehicle record review./liliMust meet MVR requirements as described below.#xa0;ulliDrivers with less than 3 years of driving experience./liliDrivers without a valid license to legally operate a vehicle in the US./liliDrivers with A, B or C class CDLs with less than 3 years of driving experience, when the vehicle operated requires a CDL- emstrongPreferred/strong/em.#xa0;/liliDrivers with the following types* of violations:/lili1 or more Serious violations in the past 5 years./lili2 or more Accidents#xa0;violations in the past 3 years./lili3 or more non-serious violations#xa0;in the past 3 years./li/ul/lilistrongUnless local, Drivers must be willing to travel to the weather event location and stay for the duration of the event until released by VDOT.
