This position can be combined with the School Secretary position for a 6 hour workday. /divh2Required Documents/h2divMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively in the course of assigned duties. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents and to draw and interpret bar graphs. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Ability to obtain a Food Safety Certificate issued by the Humboldt County Department of Health. • Ability to work efficiently within restricted time frames. • Knowledge of the proper operation and utilization of food service equipment. • Knowledge of Health and Safety Code regulations pertaining to food service operations. • Responsible for maintaining a professional atmosphere in the food service area. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • One to three months related experience and/or training. • A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required./divh2Salary Info/h2div$18.60-$28.86 hourly DOE/divh2Comments and Other Information/h2div1. Must be fingerprinted and a satisfactory Department of Justice records check must be received by the District Office, prior to employment; 2. TB testing will be required upon employment; 3. May be required to obtain first aid and CPR certificates within the first 6-12 months of employment; 4. Will be required to drive and travel for work, requiring a current California driver license.
