The position pays $17.00 hourly or $19.00 hourly with 5 years or more of verifiable security-related experience in law enforcement, military, or a security field./strong/span/ppspan style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"Gallery Guards ensure the safety and security of Institute visitors, staff, faculty, students, art collection and museum buildings by protecting against theft, vandalism, and fire. Munson Gallery Guards respond to visitor/employee needs and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner and respond quickly with professional judgement in emergencies. nbsp;The Museum of Art is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays, Sunday afternoons, with additional open hours for evening or special events, or exhibition hours.nbsp;/span/ppspan style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"strongNYS Guard license is required.nbsp;/strongPrevious experience and familiarity with security equipment preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required with ability to operate two-way radio and effectively communicate with Museum of Art visitors and employees.
