It’s time to look at Taylor./ppbr /bYour Opportunity:/b/ppbTaylor Communications,/b a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a bShipping and Receiving Clerk/b to join the team in uFresno, CA./u/pp/ppbYour Responsibilities:/bbr /• Performs the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing of equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar itemsbr /• Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods and enters into the inventory control systembr /• Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehousebr /• Pull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floorbr /• Pick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packagesbr /• Use various shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPSbr /• Adjust to a fast-paced and quickly changing environmentbr /• Assist in monthly inventory cycle countingbr /• May operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goodsbr /• Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as neededbr /• Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipmentbr /• Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilitybr /• Receives and unpacks materials and suppliesbr /• Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposesbr /• Completes shipping and receiving reports./pp• Other duties as assigned./pp/ppbYour Shift: /b1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with overtime as required/ppbr /bYou Must Have:/bbr /• Basic computer and math skillsbr /• Ability to work independently, problem-solving as needed/pp/ppbRequirements Within This Position:/bbr /• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandbr /• Regularly required to remain in a stationary positionbr /• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsbr /• Frequently required to move inside the facilitybr /• Regularly move up to 25#43; pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)/pp/ppbWe Would Also Prefer:/bbr /• Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucksbr /• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred with some related experiencebr /br /The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.50 - 18.50. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
