Picks orders for shipments, reports out-of-stock items, cleans, and straightens warehouse on an “as-needed” basis. May operate a forklift while unloading, moving, or storing product as required./ppbr//ppnbsp;strongWORK SCHEDULE –/strong nbsp;/ppbr//ppMonday – Friday, 20-30 hours per week between the business hours of 6:30am - 5 pm, with an occasional request to work 40 hours to support business need.nbsp;/ppbr//ppstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -/strong/pulliSchedule and coordinate all inbound freight when necessary./liliUse an RF scan gun to manage inventory amp; track in/outbound freightnbsp;/liliAssist in unloading inbound freight, including use of forklift and pallet jacks.nbsp;/liliReceive all inbound freight (including branch transfers) and make sure it is staged and put away properly./liliLabel all new inventory and take steps necessary for proper put-away./liliPut away stock in the warehouse according to agreed-upon standards and procedures./liliReplenish from overstock areas and “rotate stock” when appropriate./liliUpdate bin locations whenever necessary./liliComplete all paperwork and filing necessary for freight claims as well as daily receiving maintenance./liliAssist Replenishing, Order Pulling, and Shipping departments with the workload./liliKeep designated areas clean and orderly on a daily basis./liliCommunicates well with Warehouse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager to ensure that all areas of the warehouse are being covered as needed./liliMay work on special projects as needed./li/ulpRequirements/ppbr//ppnbsp;strongQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –/strong nbsp;/pulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)/lili1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training Past experience would include shipping/receiving, and material handling.nbsp;/liliHVAC/R experience along with customer service and/or sales preferred./liliForklift experience preferred/li/ulpstrongOTHER DETAILS –/strongnbsp;/pulliWe offer competitive benefits, including health insurance through UnitedHealthcare, 401K with employer match, scholarship opportunities, a referral program, and much more!nbsp;/liliJohnstone Supply – The Founders Group participates in E-Verify.
