liAt minimum, QMHA-R preferred. To meet the credential requirements of QMHA-R, must be registered with MHACBO to meet, at minimum, QMHA-R requirements./li
liA combination of at least two year's work, education, training or experience specializing in chemical dependency and mental health treatment preferred./li
liMust meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA./li
liHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required./li
liMust have current CPR certification prior to start date./li
liHas the competencies necessary to communicate effectively, perform drug and alcohol assessments and develop service plans based on, ASAM criteria, understand treatment and service terminology and able to apply the concepts./li
liAbility to adhere to Central City Concern’s drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment and strictly complies with the Drug-Free Work Place Ace of 1988. An employee shall not, in the workplace, unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol./li
liMust pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit./li
liThe OAR prohibits AD program staff from having within the previous 3 years a DUI conviction or diversion, a felony conviction, or a conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act./li
liPhysical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects./li
liMust be able to climb stairs several times a day./li
liWill be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Cell phone will be provided by Central City Concern./li
liMust adhere with Central City Concern's Fleet Safety Policy./li
liMust adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies./li

pstrongESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/p
ul
liParticipate in culturally specific outreach efforts to engage prospective clients./li
liAssist with screenings and intakes and with completing enrollment paperwork./li
liComplete alcohol and drug assessments and develop culturally appropriate, strengths-based individual service and support plans (ISSP) with clients./li
liMaintain a caseload of clients and serve as their primary counselor from admission to discharge./li
liMeet with each client at least once per month for individual counseling and case management./li
liProvide group counseling on a weekly basis, focusing on several aspects of the disease of addiction, stages of change and recovery./li
liIntroduce clients to appropriate self-help support and other supportive services/activities./li
liCollaborate and coordinate services with treatment team, community providers, and support networks to address the needs of clients./li
liMaintain client records as required by the program, county, state and funding source./li
liAttend clinical staff meeting and case conferences in order to facilitate individual treatment plans for clients./li
liAdvocate and provide referral services to assure that Latino community members get access to a variety of services and benefits, including mental health services./li
liWork within scope of training and experience. Seek consultation when appropriate./li
liAttend all mandatory CCC trainings in a timely manner./li
liAdhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and/li
lisecurity. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers' patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee./li
liDemonstrate knowledge of resources in the Latino community./li
liParticipate in training opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in addiction and mental health./li
liAdminister urinary drug analysis./li
liWhen applicable, perform duties pursuant to specialized DUII/DCJ system requirements./li
