High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life./p pstrongClinician Requirements/strong/p ul liExcellent verbal and written communications skills/li liAn understanding of the relationship between substance abuse and mental health issues and/or self-help programs/li liDiagnostic, assessment skills and case management ability/li liPromote and enhance ones knowledge about the symptoms of psychiatric illness and addiction/li liInteragency collaboration/li liAbility to facilitate a group/lecture/li liAbility to set limits and enforce rules/li liAn understanding of boundaries and ethics/li liComputer skills/li /ul pstrongClinician Duties Responsibilities/strong/p ul liMaintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position/li liComply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations/li liParticipate in Treatment Team Meetings/li liMaintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to patients – including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments/li liResponsible for each assigned patients medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manners/li liProvide direct care to the patients.
