Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other systems/pp id="isPasted"ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: nbsp;/pulliStart-up/shut down plant machinery each day./liliPerform safe operation of the boiler and all boiler room equipment. nbsp;Perform water and boiler tests. nbsp;/liliInstalls, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance inspections and services on industrial processing equipment, water levels, water systems and other equipment and systems./liliProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment./liliDiagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments./liliThoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary./liliOils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance./liliRecords and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts./liliOrders and installs replacement parts for machines./liliIdentifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines./liliRepairs broken machines quickly and efficiently./liliPrepares reports documenting work performed./liliCleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.nbsp;/liliCoordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines./liliResponds to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime./liliCollaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. nbsp;/liliMakes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required. nbsp;/liliProgram PLCrsquo;s/liliMaintain and repair trucks as needed./liliPerform lockout/tagout and other safety procedures./liliMaintain chemical room./liliPerforms other related duties as assigned.nbsp;/li/ulpbr/ppnbsp;/pp id="isPasted"JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: nbsp;nbsp;/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliSome locations may require relevant certifications, a boiler license or PLC programming./liliHave and maintain a valid driverrsquo;s license and driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or other safety violations./liliMinimum of two years maintenance engineering experience with specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welder, and boiler applications./liliProficient in the proper use of power and hand tools./liliStrong electrical troubleshooting ability of 3 phase 230-volt systems./liliPLC programming experience./liliExperience, in carpentry, boiler repair, welding, and general facility repairs./liliGood verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, perform basic math, good time management./liliMust be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done;
