Execute contract terms and conditions. Assist other departments with expediting activities and shipment issues./p pstrongPay Rate:/strong from $20/hour/p pstrongWork Location:/strong onsite/p pstrongHours:/strong 8:15am-5pm/p pstrongDuties and Responsibilities/strong/p pstrongOrder Processing Responsibilities (90% of Job Function) /strong/p ul liManually process orders from customers received by fax, phone, mail, or e-mail./li liUse QuickBooks system to look up inventory, product details, and customer information./li liMaintain a working knowledge of the product line to identify problematic orders and find solutions./li liTactfully communicate via telephone and email with colleagues, customers and vendors. Often this will be regarding order details such as price, lead time, shipping, and product options./li liGather and compile all necessary information on each order for the procurement and production departments./li liMeet multiple daily time deadlines for order entry and customer inquiries./li liTake and organize scrupulous notes on all customer, vendor, and in-house communications./li /ul pstrongOther Responsibilities (10% of Job Function)  /strong/p ul liProvide prices and delivery schedules to customers for in stock standard items./li liInvestigate and resolve all damage claims./li liFill in for other order entry positions during vacations, illness, or other time off./li liAssist in the answering and distributing of incoming phone calls./li liGreet visitors and escort them to their meeting./li liCoordinate export shipments by working with freight forwarders and global account managers./li liComplete miscellaneous projects as assigned./li /ul pstrongPhysical and Technical Environment:/strong/p ul liMinimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally./li liMust be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment/li liAbility to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator./li liMaintain clean and orderly office conditions, handle changing deadlines and project requirements, and manage strict time constraints./li /ul pstrongRequired Education and Experience/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent.
