div div pAspan /spanstrongMH Mechanic II/strongspan /spanperforms skilled maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities components and systems utilized by LGSTX Services. These systems include all types of work on conveyor systems, all components of conveyor systems and other material handling equipment. In addition this position may interact, inspect, and oversee contractors work./p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities/strongspan /spaninclude the following. Other duties may be assigned./p ul liPerforms reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment as designated above./li liPossesses the ability to cut weld and fabricate./li liReads and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics./li liSafely operates all equipment associated with the manufacturing and demolition of conveyor systems, including fabrication /welding, and conduit and wiring installation and demolition./li liTroubleshoots, repairs, and constructs mechanical and electrical systems including compressors, air lines, diverters, cylinders, switches, VFD’s, control devices, and systems./li liTroubleshoots, repairs and installs electrical components with voltages from 12 volts DC to 480 volts AC./li liDevelops work plan for emergency repair of critical assets. Work plan to include coordinating with operations, locating parts/tools for repair, scheduling time with equipment, etc./li liDemonstrates proficiency with CMMS./li liActs as a liaison between LGSTX Services and contractors on maintenance, modifications, and operations of equipment required and do so in keeping with our value of providing excellence in customer service./li liAvailable to work flexible schedules, including working all shifts, weekends and some holidays as per our customers production schedules and requirements. Overtime may be necessary as required./li liDemonstrates a professional attitude and is professional at all times./li liInforms supervisors and operations immediately of potential delays to schedules and time lines as they occur./li liDemonstrates flexibility with scheduling and tasks./li liWorks with other departments, companies, or personnel at any time as required./li liMaintains all required paperwork, work orders, electronic records and reports in an accurate and timely manner./li liEnsures all equipment is kept in the highest possible state of repair and appearance./li liServes as a mentor to less experienced MHE mechanics/li liFollows all LGSTX and/or customer operating procedures./li liIs safety conscious at all times and ensures compliance with all company policies, federal, state and local regulations./li /ul p*/p pstrongEducation and/or Experience/strong: Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.Must have at least 5 years (10 years is preferred) of verifiable prior work experience with industrial or commercial maintenance work as a maintenance technician or mechanic. Must be self-motivated with the ability work without direct supervision and/or as part of a team. Two to four years of formal approved technical training, apprenticeship or schooling in industrial or commercial maintenance to include mechanical and electrical is preferred./p pstrongComputer Skills/strong: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn relevant company software programs. Basic knowledge or familiarity with using a smart phone./p pstrongCertificates, Licenses, Registrations/strong: A current valid driver’s license./p pWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
