Banquet Server-Bartender: Part-Time Openings

pThe hiring rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. /p pPlease apply to learn more about the benefits of working for the CIA./p p /p pstrongPOSITION SUMMARY/strong/p pThe Banquet Server-Bartender is responsible for ensuring all guests receive a positive experience.  This position is responsible for providing quality service to all customers while ensuring all practices, equipment and inventory are properly maintained./p p /p pstrongESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liAssists guests by anticipating their needs./li liFunctions as bartender at events./li liUses standardized CIA recipes for all items served from bar./li liMaintains a strong food and beverage knowledge base in an effort to provide the best possible guest service experience./li liMaintains control and timing throughout station to ensure quality guest experience./li liConducts physical inventory of storage areas.  Orders bar supplies as needed, rotates stock./li liMaintains cleanliness and organization of workstations./li liCompletes set up and break down side work as assigned with the goal of contributing to an organized, well-prepared work environment./li liEnsures each and every table is maintained during the dining experience according to standard./li liAny and all other duties as assigned./li /ul p /p pstrongREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/p pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Education/span:/p ul liHigh School Diploma or equivalent required./li /ul pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Experience/span:/p ul liSix (6) months of service experience in a restaurant, hotel or resort./li /ul pspan style="text-decoration: underline;"Licenses / Certifications/span:/p ul liTIPS responsible alcohol service certification, or equivalent or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days from hire date./li liA valid ServSafe® Food Handler card or the ability to obtain within thirty (30) days from hire date./li /ul p /p pstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liService or hospitality industry experience preferred./li /ul p /p pstrongREQUIRED SKILLS/strong/p ul liStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to be adaptable, dependable and handle multiple priorities simultaneously./li liDemonstrated ability to show a high level of service responsiveness to internal customers./li liMust display a high level of energy and self-motivation./li liHighly organized, attentive to detail, accurate and efficient./li liAbility to work well within a team./li liPunctual and dependable./li /ul p /p pstrongWORKING CONDITIONS /strong/p ul liMust be able to work at both locations of the CIA California Campus (Copia in Napa, CA and Greystone in St. Helena, CA)./li liAbility to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours./li liAble to bend, stoop or reach as needed/li liAbility to frequently lift and carry 30 pounds./li liAbility to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds with assistance./li liAbility to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures, including temperatures above 100° F./li /ul
