Production Home Assembler - Full-time

pstrongJob Summary:/strong/p pThe Production Home Assembler follows work orders and instructions in order to accurately and efficiently prepare and assemble building components and homes in a factory assembly line environment. /p pstrongEssential Duties and responsibilities:/strong/p ul liOperate various hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete carpentry duties including: ul liCircular Saw/li liTable Saw/li liRouter/li liPneumatic Nail Gun (roofing, framing and finish work)/li liDrills/li liAnd other tools needed for measuring, cutting, fastening, and drilling/li /ul /li liFrame, layout and build floors/li liPrepare, layout and build walls/li liLayout, run and install electrical lines, switches, receptacles and panels/breaker boxes/li liInstall and prepare dry for finish tape, mud and texture/li liComplete roof construction, decking, flashing and shingling/li liCabinet and or finish carpentry and trim, build and installation/li liInstallation of siding, windows and doors /li liPainting of interior and exterior of homes /li liCooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees/li liAdhere to all rules and regulations, at all times/li liMeet or exceed company safety standards/li liPerform other tasks as assigned by management/li /ul p /p pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/p ul liMust be at least 18 years of age/li liMust be legally authorized to work in the United States/li liBe able to read, write, and speak English/li liHigh School diploma, preferred/li /ul p /p pstrongKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/strong/p ul liAbility to read a tape measure/li liPossess basic construction knowledge and comfortable using basic tools/li liExcellent attention to detail/li liAbility to read blueprints, a plus/li liAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task/li liAbility to trouble shoot and problem solve in a high-volume/li liVersatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary/li liYou must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members/li /ul p /p pstrongWorking conditions:/strong/p ul liContinuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors./li liMust wear protective equipment while at the location/li /ul p /p pstrongPhysical requirements/strong:/p ul liRequires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degree/li liHeavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects/li liWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment/li /ul p /p pemDisclaimer:/em “This job description is intended to provide general information about the position.
