This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success./p p /p pJob description: /p ul liPlans, schedules and supervises security efforts for patients, associates and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises as assigned. /li liPlans, schedules and supervises drills associated with security response and reports on same. /li liResponsible for Environment of care Chapter 2 Security as required by Joint Commission. /li liCoordinates the development and implementation of Hospital-wide safety programs as well as the safety and training programs for Corporate and outlying locations. /li liIn addition, this position is responsible for the management of the Security function./li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 pIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:/p p /p ul liHS Diploma or GED, required. /li liCurrent driver’s license issued by the state wherein theposition is posted with satisfactory DMV report on file or theability to obtain one within 30 days of hire if facility requiresthe position to operate a motor vehicle; (2) current stateissued guard card/license, showing no disciplinary actions,in states where required;/li liCPR BLS Certification within 90 days of employment /li liMinimum of one (1) year experience as a security officerinvolving extensive public contact and/or law enforcementand military security experience or related fields in aleadership capacity./li liAbility to create presentations and reports using slides, tables, and charts./li liAssociates degree in criminal justice, preferred. /li liBachelors degree in criminal justice, preferred. /li /ul h2Your Connected Community/h2 pWe believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness. /p h2Our Total Reward Offerings/h2 pWe believe investing in our employees lets them know they truly matter.
