If so, join the specialists in the medicine of motion today!/ppbr//ppThe Clinic Assistant provides logistical and administrative assistance to staff, providers, patients, and their families./ppbr//ppstrongClinic Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliTakes direction from the Medical Assistance staff and providers performing duties as assigned that are within the scope of the assistant’s practice and competence./liliFacilitates the placement and rooming of patients./liliAssists provider during procedure upon request. May act as a designated chaperone upon request./liliResponsible for preparing the clinic exam rooms prior to the start of the clinic and cleaning rooms between procedures/patients./liliResponsible for stocking the exam rooms with supplies and equipment necessary to support the next morning’s clinic./li/ulpRequirements/pulliValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to multiple locations/liliCore competencies in communication, customer service, teamwork, ethics, and confidentiality/li/ulpstrongPhysical Requirements/strong/pulliThe work environment is the typical medical office environment. The employee must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, patients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others./liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear up to 8 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl up to 8 hours a day./liliThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner.
