Medical Assistant - Full-time

pDescription/ppGreater Danbury Community Health Center seeks to hire full-time Medical Assistants (MA) to work in our Behavioral Health Department. nbsp;The position is responsible for working directly with Clinicians and Registered Nurse (RN) to facilitate quality out patient Behavioral Health care, and efficient patient flow. nbsp;MAs are responsible for vital signs, documenting patient history, nbsp;rooming patients, setting up exam rooms, maintenance of medical supplies, assists in the handling of equipment, recording of patient information, and equipment maintenance. nbsp;Some shifts require late afternoon / early evenings.nbsp;nbsp;/ppRequirements/ppSuccessful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required), and two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent), prior experience with electronic medical records; nbsp;AA preferred.
