Porter - Full-time

pstrongPOSITION:/strong Porter (Full-Time, Non-Exempt) br /br /strongCOMPENSATION:/strong Hourly Rate, plus Benefits eligibility/p pstrongSUMMARY/strong/p pAs a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the common areas of the property and apartments prior to move-in.br /br /strongRESPONSIBILITIES/strong (Including but not limited to)/p ul liConsistently demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork./li liMaintain a safe, tidy and sanitary clubhouse, office, model, and all other common areas./li liEnsure that the property is free of trash, debris and animal waste./li liEnsure the cleanliness of the dumpster areas and necessary preparation for trash pick-up./li liEnsure that the grass and landscaping are well maintained, including the watering of flowers./li liEnsure the best possible appearance of each apartment prior to new resident move-in./li liAdvise supervisor of items needing additional attention in the apartment; i.e. ripped carpet, torn linoleum, window or door repair, etc./li liProvide assistance with apartment turnovers as directed./li liCommunicate with the Property Manager or Service Manager regarding any problems with maintenance or curb appeal that requires further attention./li liRespond appropriately to emergencies, according to policies and procedures./li liParticipate in and attend all required in-service training sessions./li liEnsure understanding and compliance with all policies and procedures./li liContribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring that customer’s expectations are met or exceeded./li liParticipates in Cardinal U training as required./li /ul pstrongQUALIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities./li liPositive attitude, enthusiasm and energy while providing exceptional customer service./li liAbility to use hand and power tools./li liMust be able to lift 50 lbs./li liMust be able to stand, walk, and complete physical labor for up to eight hours per day./li liAbility to communicate and comprehend in English./li liHigh School Diploma or equivalent./li liAbility to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day./li /ul pstrongCANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING CAREER EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: /strong/p ul liCustodian/li liJanitorial/li liJanitor/li liPorter maintenance/li liLandscaping/li liGeneral Labor/li /ul p style="margin-left: 36pt;" /p pstrongWORK ENVIRONMENT/strong/p pThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
