PT Security Guard, Weekend Swing Shift - CCI/Speer,

h1span class="emphasis"bJob Description/b/span/h1p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppOur Lewiston location is looking for a regular part time Security Guard to provide basic plant security to protect employees, facilities, and plant assets./ppThis position is approximately 24 hours per week and is eligible for CCI Speer benefits./ppYou must attach a resume to be considered for this position./ppPay is $16.26 - $17.51hour #43; shift differential./pullispanMust be able to work Weekend swing shift: Saturday and Sunday from 6:00pm to 6:00am/span/lilispanMake foot and/or vehicle-assisted rounds. Perform fire watch during rounds./span/lilispanWatch for theft. Look for vandals and vandalism./span/lilispanCheck for illegal entry. Logs all activity in daily logbook, such as items that are not routine./span/lilispanFollow Standard Works for Security Guard./span/lilispanReport leaking pipes. Report mechanical faults of machinery and equipment./span/lilispanCheck doors and windows that are supposed to be closed and locked. Check gates to ensure they are closed and/or locked if appropriate./span/lilispanInvestigate vehicle/traffic accidents./span/lilispanCheck badges of employees accessing plant. Conduct random searches of vehicles and employees entering and exiting the plant./span/lilispanWarns violators and documents any infractions such as loitering, trespassing, smoking in restricted areas, and carrying forbidden articles./span/lilispanMake periodic patrol of parking lots, either on foot or by driving vehicle. Issue parking violations and watch for suspicious activity./span/lilispanAssist in handling workplace violence scenarios. Escort employees and others off plant with plant leadership or law enforcement./span/lilispanUse fire extinguisher to put out small, incipient-type fires./span/li/ulp/pullipbMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/b/p/liliHigh school or GED equivalent./liliGood communication skills, both written and oral. /liliMust possess basic mathematics skills. /liliMust be able to work under stressful conditions./liliMust be trained in threat response within 90 days of employment. /liliMust be certified in First Aid/CPR within 6 months of hire. /liliMust be able to work alone with minimal supervision./liliMust have valid driver’s license without restrictions./liliMust not be prohibited from shipping, transporting, or possessing any firearm or ammunition under the Gun Control Act or Safe Explosives Act./liliMust not meet the definition of a prohibited person under 19 U.S.C. 922(g)./liliSuccessful candidates must complete and pass a post-employment ATF background check and receive a letter of clearance./li/ulp/ppbWork Environment:/b/ppEmployee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives.
