The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements, while maintaining a clean, and safe work environment.pbuEssential Functions/u/b/pp/pullispanReceives all inbound orders into WMS:  spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS deliveries, Federal Express deliveries, water transfer as needed/span/lilispanRebuilds damaged pallets prior to restock/span/lilispanProcesses RMA’s/span/lilispanConsolidates finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities/span/lilispanIdentifies, reports and observes quality issues with finished goods and RMS/span/lilispanValidates new SKU’s in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling/span/liliCorrects LGV alarms/liliMonitors Loads/liliUnloads finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a forklift/liliMaintains pallet storage area; offloads pallets from trailers and stage for LGV’s to pick up/liliCorrects product spills/liliManually pulls pallets from production as needed/liliSupplies production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)/liliAir Bag Loads/liliClears up blocked locations in WMS/lilispanMay be required to operate a forklift when needed/span/lilispanFacilitates the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer base/span/lilispanTests and monitors resin and spring water/span/lilispanCoordinates preload activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time/span/lilispanChecks in trucks and communicates loading instructions to forklift drivers/span/lilispanProvides correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility/span/lilispanMaintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control/span/lilispanInvolvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction/span/lilispanMaintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse/span/lilispanRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job/span/lilispanAnswers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquette/span/lilispanCommunicates with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issues/span/lilispanCoordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled/span/liliiPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
