Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of recent medical assistant experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals and experience is insurance verifications and authorizations.nbsp;strongMust be bilingual in English and Spanish.nbsp;/strong/p pstrongResponsibilities/strong/p ul liGenetics education for high-risk patients./li liRegistration and scheduling follow up appointments for genetic testing./li liInterface with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner./li liUnder the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time./li liMaintain a safe and professional environment./li liPerforms with confidence clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures./li liPerform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct./li liMaintains required records and documentation./li liDemonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general./li liDraw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
