X-Ray Technician - Part time

pDescription/ppCIFC Health, a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., seeks a part-time X-Ray Technician. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified with experience performing diagnostic X-rays in a fast-paced outpatient setting. nbsp;You’ll play a vital role in assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort./ppbr//ppbr//ppbr//ppRequirements/polliPerform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols and physician orders./liliPosition patients accurately and safely to obtain optimal imaging./liliOperate radiographic equipment, adjusting techniques as necessary for patient condition and area of interest./liliEnsure all imaging is stored and documented accurately in the PACS system./liliMaintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment./liliComply with all HIPAA, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines./liliCollaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals./liliFulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position./liliPerforms other related duties as assigned./li/olpbr//ppSuccessful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; and nbsp;nbsp;/pulliGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program./liliARRT certification in Radiography (R) required./liliValid Connecticut state radiologic technologist license./liliBLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) required./lili1+ year of experience preferred (new grads with clinical experience may be considered)./liliExcellent communication and patient care skills./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team./li/ulpBilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
