Resident Relations Representative - Full-time

pDescription/ppReporting to the Resident Relations Manager, the Resident Relation Associate provides customer service to the residents of the apartment community. They act as a first point of contact for current residents to address community concerns, generate work order requests and manage day to day ongoing customer service issues. This role plays a critical part in promoting overall resident satisfaction with the apartment community.nbsp;nbsp;/ppbr//ppPosition Responsibilities:/pulliDeliver notices and sign delivery notice verification./liliFile all necessary paperwork by unit into digital files./liliComplete outward appearance inspections and deliver violation notices./liliAnswer telephone and retrieve messages.nbsp;/liliGreet residents with a smile and positive attitude./liliPrepare work orders and direct to maintenance department for handling./liliAssist residents with 30 Day Notice. Inquire about possibility to retain resident, schedule pre-maintenance inspection within 24 hours, schedule pursuing inspections, and final inspection./liliClose out maintenance work orders once maintenance and/or vendor has completed with follow-up as necessary./liliIssue Barcodes after verifying DMV registration, occupancy, and resident information of vehicle./liliData entry into Lift Master and YARDI./liliIssue Woods I.D.’s and Entry Gate Codes./liliEnsure Lift Master is backing up system daily at 6:00 p.m./liliProvide keys to vendors as needed./liliIssue parking passes to residents and maintain the data base for monitoring offenders./liliCall for system ‘test’ for water shut-offs./liliAssist in coordinating events for residents/li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppPreferred Qualifications:/pulliCustomer service experience, preferably in property managementnbsp;/liliStrong interpersonal and communication skillsnbsp;/liliConflict resolution experiencenbsp;/liliExceptional verbal and written communication skills/liliStrong organizational and multi-tasking skills/liliThe ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment/liliThe ability to work well independently as well as within a team setting/liliA positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills/liliCollege degree preferred; high school diploma required.nbsp;/li/ulpPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSnbsp;/ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to walk the property including walking upstairs to third floor, stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
