Environmental Services Aides are assigned to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition. Assignments may include daily cleaning and supply tasks for patient and procedure rooms throughout the facility./ppRequirements/ppstrongSummary: /strongThe strongEnvironmental Services Aide/strong is responsible for supporting facility cleanliness and infection control by performing daily cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the health center. EVS Aides are assigned based on facility needs and may work in patient rooms, procedure areas, resident areas, offices, and public/common areas./ppbr//ppstrongMinimum Required Education/Experience:/strong High School diploma preferred./ppbr//ppstrongEssential Job Functions:/strong/pp· Cleans and services rooms, baths and other assigned areas./pp· Cleans, mops and waxes floors, dusts furniture and equipment./pp· Assists with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding and delivery./pp· Assists in cleaning of emergency spill observed or upon request./pp· Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed./pp· Gather and dispose of refuse./pp· Transport hospital equipment as assigned./pp· Maintains an effective working relationship with Administration, Directors, physicians and their office staff, hospital staff, and vendors to ensure goals are optimized and that good working relationships are cultivated and retained./pp· Other duties as assigned./ppstrongPre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills/strong:/pp• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written communications./pp• High degree of attention to detail when completing assignments./pp• Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams./ppbr//ppstrongNote/strong: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted./ppbr//ppstrongNecessary Special Requirements/strong: Must obtain annual flu vaccination, and any job-specific immunizations.
