This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, equipment, and appliances, as well as addressing any maintenance concerns promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service./ppbr//ppstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliPerform routine building maintenance as directed, completing tasks such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, floor care, pressure washing, basic plumbing, and appliance repairs./liliEnsure that all repairs and service orders are completed promptly, following operating and safety standards./liliMaintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment./liliRepair vacated rooms promptly and prepare for a new resident's move-in./liliEnsure that the walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in the community's common areas are well-maintained./liliMonitor and manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory./liliMaintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including service logs, equipment maintenance, and inventory tracking./liliMaintain positive communication with the local fire marshal, building inspector, state elevator inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.nbsp;/liliWork within the legal scope of local and state codes./li/ulpRequirements/ppstrongCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS/strong/ppstrongEducation and certificates:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliProfessional maintenance-related certifications are a plus, but not required./li/ulpstrongExperience, Competencies, and Skills:/strong/pulliAt least two (2) years of prior maintenance or handyman experience in a senior living, multi-apartment, or hotel setting is required./liliA well-rounded general maintenance skillset, including experience with HVAC, drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, basic repairs, painting, floor care, and landscaping./liliAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently, with good time management and organizational skills./liliFriendly and professional demeanor with a customer service mindset./liliComfortable working with cleaning chemicals, tools, and machinery./li/ul
