Job Title: Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Laborer to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations by handling materials, supporting shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organized facility.

Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Material Movement: Safely and efficiently transport materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods throughout the facilities using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Shipping and Receiving: Load and unload shipments. Assist with building wooden boxes and pallets for shipment.
• Storage and Organization: Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization, cleanliness, and accessibility for production personnel.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries in the workplace.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements in material handling operations, and contribute ideas for implementation to enhance overall productivity.

Skills and abilities:

• Forklift certified (or willingness to train - training offered on site.)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of the job.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to use hand tools and equipment as needed for production support.
• Ability to perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, and kneeling.
