Warehouse Operations Associate (Shipping/Batching) – Weekend Shift

We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Warehouse Operations Associate (Shipping/Batching) to join our team in Ottawa, KS. This role is critical to keeping freight moving safely and efficiently through the facility. The associate will be responsible for processing, loading, unloading, and batching freight while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Pay: $21.50- $23.60 per hour, shift differential

Work Hours: Multiple Shifts Available:

1st shift-Tuesday – Friday, 5:00am – 3:00pm – Overtime may be required based on business needs

2nd shift-Tuesday – Friday, 3:00pm – 1:00am (2nd Shift) – Overtime may be required based on business needs

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Associate (Shipping/Batching) is responsible for handling and processing freight in a safe and accurate manner, maintaining freight quality and integrity, and ensuring timely flow through the facility. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail, dependability, and a strong work ethic. Flexibility is important, as overtime may be required to support production demands.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, order-fill, pack, and process freight accurately and on time.

• Process cases for loading onto trailers using scanner and batch trailer systems.

• Manage freight flow through conveyor systems and by stacking/arranging freight on pallets, carts, or trailers.

• Operate freight handling equipment in a safe and correct manner.

• Notify management about unsafe working conditions, damaged products, or improper procedures.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure compliance.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

• Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods.

• Dependability and strong work ethic are required.

• Previous warehouse or freight handling experience preferred.

• Ability to safely operate freight handling machinery and equipment.

• Willingness to work overtime when required.
