Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Kitchen Manager to oversee all culinary operations during evening and late-night hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a sous chef, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality food. Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the evening kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow, proper food preparation, and adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain optimal ingredient levels.
Develop and implement new menu items and specials in collaboration with the Head Chef, leveraging past sous chef experience to create innovative and delicious dishes.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and sanitation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, with experience as a sous chef or in a similar management position.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
Ability to work late-night hours, including weekends.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
