Job Summary:
The Step-Down Registered Nurse provides specialized care to patients transitioning from the ICU to a progressive care environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and implementation of individualized care plans in accordance with hospital policies and standards of practice. The RN must demonstrate strong critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
