Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at a food-grade, non-food manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including:
  • Heating elements, rollers, cutters, motors, and cranes
  • Automation systems and PLCs (Siemens preferred)
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently from start to finish
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety
• Work in physically demanding environments, including hot areas (up to 125°ree;F), tight spaces, and elevated platforms
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Top Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with industrial maintenance, preventive maintenance, and machine repair
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase systems, and automation
• Ability to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting
• Welding experience is a plus (not required)
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule

Preferred Experience:

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience working with Siemens PLCs and automated systems
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and computer-based diagnostics
