School Psychologist

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Hamilton, GA, serving K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role spans the normal school year (NSY) and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention strategies
• Providing counseling and support services to students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing professional recommendations
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with diverse student populations across K-12 grade levels
• Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and educational interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain detailed records
