American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a busy hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active IL RN license.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit with antepartum and OB ED areas, affiliated with a Level III NICU
- Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- Floating may be required to like units (e.g., Mother/Baby)
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AHA/AAP)
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Full DOB and full SSN required for consideration
- Provide nursing care in a busy L&D unit that includes antepartum and OB ED areas
- Local candidates are accepted; however, local candidates may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
