Hourly Rate: $19.00-21.00 per hour | Based on education and experience

Sign On Bonus: $2,500 for fully qualified teachers

Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Infant Teacher to lead the classroom at our premier preschool in Sacramento, CA. What You’ll Do:

As a Preschool Teacher with Merryhill Preschool, you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing daily classroom operations and ensuring full compliance with state licensing regulations
Designing and implementing thoughtful and intentional lessons in a classroom setting that encourage student growth and development.
Building meaningful relationships with families and creating a welcoming school culture
Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff.

What We’re Looking For:

12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education OR an awarded CDA in the appropriate age group.
- Infant and toddler teachers will be required to have 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units completed.
A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
The ability to often carry and lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds.

*This position is eligible for a signing bonus total $2,500, paid in installments as follows: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days of employment, and $1,000 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings.
