TIG Welder - Panels (1st Shift)

As a Welder you will be responsible for completing proper measures, cuts and welds on components and assemblies.

Currently there is an opening for a Welderin ourPanels department on 1stshift (6:30a - 2:30p. Monday - Friday).

Panels Welder:Starting at $20.29/hr. on 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather materials and supplies as needed.
• Verify correct type, quality, color, and size of components.
• Adjust gauges and settings on welder.
• Measure, cut, sand, machine, and weld components per work order, blueprint, or instructions.
• Maintain welder and related equipment in good working order.
• Completes necessary paperwork.
• Fill out DMN .
• Will be operating a 4-point TIG welder.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Read work orders and follow instructions.
• Frequently asks production area if they need help.
• Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Participate in improving our products, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Continually looks for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
• Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail
• TIG welding basic skills required.
• Aluminum TIG Welding skills preferred.
• Must be able to create a bead and hold a stick.
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work overtime.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
