The Labor & Delivery unit features 26 beds and a highly experienced team of over 100 staff members. The hospital supports a collaborative and team-based nursing model, with strong leadership and a newly launched OB Hospitalist program to enhance patient care and support.

• Building: 3
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 14 RNs, 2–3 Surgical Techs, 2 Unit Clerks
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 12 RNs, 2 Surgical Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
• Patient Ratios:
  • 1:1 – High-risk labor & C-sections
  • 1:2 – Antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, postpartum on magnesium
  • 1:3 – Postpartum without baby, outpatient cases
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitors
• EMR Systems: CPN Gold, Meditech

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, including high-risk cases
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with procedures such as inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in self-scheduling and team-based nursing support

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
  • Must be able to circulate C-sections
  • High-risk LDR experience preferred
• Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Additional certifications not specified
