Job Description
GEM Enrollments is seeking a skilled Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our growing team. The candidate will be primarily CASE-BUILDING and overseeing the success of each enrollment setup.
The candidate will work closely with the Enrollment Team to ensure a smooth and efficient process from start to finish.
Our Employee Benefits Coordinators are organized, tech-savvy professionals who excel at working with plan administrators and clients to gather employee & benefit data, and buildout our ben-admin-portal, Employee Navigator. The role requires a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Building: Set up and build out the Benefit Administration Platform for each client.
- Team Collaboration: Align efforts with the Enrollment Team and Benefits Counselors, ensuring smooth communication of enrollment processes.
- Data Gathering: Collect employee census information, benefit eligibility details, payroll rules, cost contributions, etc.
- Database Management: Populate the Employee Navigator portal with all relevant data, including core benefits, flex options, voluntary benefits, and contributions.
- Enrollment Guides: Create detailed Enrollment Guides to support Benefits Counselors during sessions, including enrollment schedules, offered products, core benefits, dress codes, and required paperwork.
- Training & Meetings: Set up and participate in group training and meetings to ensure the team is fully prepared.
- Enrollment Monitoring: Oversee the enrollment process from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange logistics for enrolling new employees and stragglers.
- Post-Enrollment Reporting: Collaborate with the data team to prepare and deliver post-enrollment reports.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain continuous contact with clients to ensure a high-quality consumer experience.
- Problem Solving: Proactively resolve challenges and drive solutions to improve enrollment results.
- Data Analysis: Analyze enrollment results, identify trends, and recommend improvements for future enrollments.
- Integration Support: Work with integration partners to ensure smooth feeds and automation into platforms.
- Innovation: Continuously seek ways to enhance the enrollment experience through creative and innovative thinking.
Requirements:
- Experience with benefit administration platforms such as Employee Navigator, Ease, Selerix, or Harmony.
- Strong background in the Employee Benefits Industry.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Ability to think strategically while acting tactically.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop strong business relationships.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work while meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Life and Health License.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our headquarters in Orangeburg, NY.
