About Us
Haus of Margaritaz is a grown & elevated bar/lounge in Houston’s Third Ward, known for frozen margaritas, daiquiris, and a lively weekend DJ vibe. We’re building a professional, guest-first team for our soft opening and beyond.

What You’ll Do

• Craft frozen and on-the-rocks margaritas, daiquiris, and classic cocktails with speed, accuracy, and consistency.

• Deliver exceptional, welcoming service; engage guests, upsell features/specials, and manage tabs.

• Verify IDs and enforce all TABC rules; refuse service when appropriate and keep guests safe.

• Operate POS (Wells Fargo system), handle cash/credit, and close out accurate end-of-shift reports.

• Stock/rotate product; set up and break down bar stations; maintain a spotless, organized bar.

• Follow house recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.

• Collaborate with security, kitchen, and management to keep service smooth during peak hours.

• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

What You Bring

• Required: Current TABC Seller/Server certification (or able to obtain before start).

• Preferred: Texas Food Handler (or willing to obtain within 30 days).

• 1+ year bartending in a high-volume bar or cocktail lounge (fast learners with great energy considered).

• Confident with batching/frozen machines and multi-tasking under pressure.

• Professional, guest-focused attitude; great communication and teamwork.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to ~30 lbs.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time hours required.

• We operate 11:00 AM–12:00 AM (Sun–Thu) and 11:00 AM–2:00 AM (Fri–Sat).

• Must be available for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Perks

• $10.00 per hour + tips (paid daily).

• Keep your tips nightly; if tips are placed in a shared tip jar, they’re split equally among the team on duty.

• Employee meal each shift and one employee drink per night (no comp drinks for family/friends).

• 45-minute meal break for full-time shifts + two 15-minute breaks in accordance with policy.

Dress & Professional Standards

• Clean, polished appearance that matches our brand.

• Female staff: makeup neat; hair tidy.

• Male staff: well-groomed.

• No long nails when serving/handling food; nail color is fine.

• No harassment of customers; no theft of food or liquor; never disclose ownership information to guests.
