Company Driver

We are seeking a qualified, dependable truck driver to join our delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading pallets and pipe from the warehouse into your truck, transporting the load to local companies, and unloading the shipment when you arrive. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking with customers. We prefer candidates who have at least six months of truck driving experience.

Job Type: Full-time 45-50 hours per week. Overtime approved!

Monday-Friday 6am-5pm

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience 

No CDL is required.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Preform Pre and Post trips daily, Maintain and inspect vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle.
• Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Drives vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.
• Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured.
• Maintains various files and records (Bill of Lading, Delivery Documents) for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information.
• Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
• Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
• Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct and/or inspecting items for damage.
• Stocks equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels.
• Load and unload items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals.
• Deliver products to customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner
• Coordinate with customers prior to delivery and when delivering to determine placement of product
• Follow all State/Federal DOT regulations and safety standards

Qualifications/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• 6+ months of driving experience 
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Adhering to safety practices
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a background check and drug test
