Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide high-quality care for patients presenting to the emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of emergency conditions across all age groups
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document all clinical encounters using Epic EMR
- Respond promptly to acute and emergent patient needs
- Maintain compliance with all relevant protocols, policies, and procedures
Additional Information
- Active North Carolina PA license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Recent ER experience in similar size facilities strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system necessary
