DoorDash is seeking an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets to join our Outside Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for winning new business across your assigned geography and contributing to the overall growth strategy of DoorDash. This is a field sales position where most transactions are completed face-to-face with local and regional restaurant owners.

You will travel to emerging/rural markets, manage a fast-paced transactional sales cycle, and help expand DoorDash’s footprint by building valuable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel across emerging markets to identify and sign new restaurant partners.
• Pitch and sell the value of DoorDash partnerships, negotiating revenue share agreements.
• Manage a transactional deal cycle and close new business quickly (often within days).
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers and leverage available sales tools (sales sheets, gift cards, business cards, etc.).
• Represent DoorDash in the field as a trusted partner to local restaurant owners.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Ability and willingness to travel (50%+), including within 2 hours of home base, occasional overnight stays, and longer travel days.
• Strong B2B sales skills with efficiency in both inside and outside sales tactics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create scalable strategies and playbooks.

Compensation

• Base salary plus uncapped commissions.
• On Target Earnings (OTE) for commissions: $1,750/month, with potential to exceed.

Company covers approved travel costs.
